The "OLI-NATURA Project Oil" based on natural oils is used for the colored treatment of furniture, stairs, and floorboards on almost all types of wood. It has a solid content of 60%, penetrates deep into the pores, and reliably protects the wood from within. It does not form a surface layer but rather represents an open-pored impregnation. Thanks to the high self-penetration of the project oil, it is particularly easy to apply and very economical. With only one to two applications, extremely water and dirt-repellent wooden surfaces are achieved, which are easy to maintain and repair.
There are four colors that preserve the natural charm of the wood and enhance the haptic quality of the surface. The pigments maintain the structural appearance of the wood and give the surface a natural color. At the same time, the UV-stable color pigments help to counteract the natural color change of the wood for as long as possible.
The project oil is ideal for all lye-treated, untreated, sanded, or new wooden surfaces, but also for oriented strand boards (OSB) and cork indoors: whether for wooden or frame furniture, wall paneling, doors or kitchen furniture, parquet floors or stairs.
Easy to apply: Depending on the area of use, the material is applied in one to two coats with a brush, a pad, or an oil roller so that the entire wooden surface is wet and glossy. After a short drying time, the excess is simply wiped off with a cotton cloth/oil absorbent cloth and polished again. If necessary, a second coat can be applied after overnight drying without intermediate sanding.
For moderately used furniture, a single application is usually sufficient. Floors, stairs, or heavily used furniture, however, require more protection. A second application is recommended here.
Quality: The "OLI-NATURA Project Oil" is based on modified vegetable oils such as linseed oil, medical-grade isoparaffin, and lead- and cobalt-free drying agents. We consciously avoid the use of critical substances such as preservatives, formaldehydes, aromatics, biocides, cobalt salts, and oximes.
The product cures in the wood's interior in conjunction with atmospheric oxygen, becoming tough and elastic. The oiled surface remains open-pored and breathable. Due to its diffusion openness (water vapor permeability), the treated wood can absorb moisture from the ambient air and release it again if needed. This improves the indoor climate and enhances people's well-being.
The hardened material is harmless to humans, animals, and plants. It complies with DIN EN 71-3 (Safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (Saliva and sweat resistance) and is a construction product approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

The solvent-free OLI-NATURA Worktop-Oil is the first choice for table manufacturers, carpenters, and wood and epoxy resin craftsmen when it comes to highest quality and long-lasting protection for heavily used worktops, tables, or wooden washbasins. The high-solid blend of linseed oil and tung oil makes the wood particularly resistant and water-repellent.
Application is efficient: Simply apply with a spatula, work in with a massage pad, and polish with a polishing pad – often a single coat is sufficient.
For even greater durability, the oil can be combined with OLI-NATURA Hardener (5:1). Especially in wet areas, this mixture protects the wood long-lastingly from water and creams. Even with very fine sanding, as is often the case with wood and epoxy resin work, it ensures optimal cross-linking of the oil with the wood fibers.
The Worktop-Oil leaves a matte, pleasantly tactile surface with a vibrant enhancement of the wood grain. Especially on hardwoods like oak, olive, and walnut, it highlights the grain and color tone. Light wood types like ash or maple acquire a slightly yellowish tint – for a raw wood look, we recommend suitable alternatives.
The open-pored surface can be refreshed at any time by simple re-oiling. Food contact tested and certified according to LFGB, DIN EN 71-3 and DIN 53160 – ideal for restaurants, hotels, schools, and kindergartens.

ONE-LAYER-OIL. Deep black & resistant protection.
The intensely coloured Colour-Oil 2C in Midnight Black stains and protects wooden furniture and stairs – with just one coat.
The base is our solvent-free Worktop-Oil with 100% natural oil content, enriched with UV-stable pigments for maximum colour presence. The 2K system consists of component A (500 ml Colour-Oil) and component B (100 ml Hardener) in a mixing ratio of 5:1.
Thanks to the hardener, the surface is dry after 24 hours and fully cured after 5 days – then even water and soap resistant.
The high-viscosity oil is best applied with a spatula or squeegee. Afterwards, it is massaged in with a beige pad and polished after a short absorption time – ideal for flat surfaces such as table or worktops.
Extra tip: In combination with OLI-NATURA Antique reactive stain, a particularly dramatic black effect is created.

To achieve an aging effect on tannin-rich woods like oak, use OLI-NATURA ANTIQUE – a reactive stain that naturally ages the wood. This ecological, VOC-free, water-based pre-treatment penetrates deep into the wood and reacts directly with the tannins present.
OLI-NATURA ANTIQUE is applied to raw wood and creates – depending on the shade – a fumed or graying effect that mimics the natural aging process.
After complete drying, a gentle intermediate sanding is performed, followed by oil treatment with a colorless or colored OLI-NATURA oil – depending on the desired effect.
The reactive stain is available in three color intensities - "limed", "smoked" or "black smoked" and can be mixed to achieve individual shades. Depending on the chosen shade, application amount, and tannin content of the wood, the aging effect will vary in intensity.
The application is possible both manually and industrially – with a brush, roller, spray gun, or roller coater.
Important: The stained surface must be protected with an oil, as the stain alone provides no protection. In addition, the wood surface should not be watered before staining (no water-popping), as this would neutralize some of the natural tannins – and OLI-AQUA ANTIQUE would no longer react optimally.

Close but no cigar: That's why we recommend testing the color effect on a sample piece of the desired wood before applying it to the final furniture, stairs, or floor. This way, you can be sure you like the color.
That's exactly what our sample sets are for: They show how the color looks on your wood – because the final appearance depends heavily on the natural base tone.
The set contains 13 × 20 ml HS Profiöl – including the colorless variant NATUR and all 12 new trend colors 2025 from Umbra Grey to Signal White.
All colored oils are transparent with UV-stable pigments and intermixable, so you can also create your own shades.
Important:Shake well before use – pigments tend to settle at the bottom.
Note on light shades:Signal White and Light Ivory specifically reduce the darkening effect and give light wood a brightened, raw-wood-like appearance. A slight haze may occur on dark woods.

CREATING A SAMPLE AREA - HERE'S HOW
Step by step:
SandingSand your desired wood evenly - final sanding up to max. 180 grit.Ensure a clean sanding – sanding mistakes are mercilessly visible with colored oils.
Masking fields & preparing padsMask off equally sized test fields and cut 11 equally sized pad pieces – beige for rubbing in, white for polishing out.
Shake bottles thoroughlyThe color pigments tend to settle – so shake the bottle vigorously before use to ensure an even distribution.
Apply oilApply some oil to each test field and rub it in with the beige rubbing pad. Let it soak in briefly and then polish with the white polishing pad.
Excess? Get rid of it!Is there still too much oil on the surface? Then first wipe it off with a soft cloth and then polish with the white pad.
Let dryLet your sample dry overnight, then remove the tape. Now you can clearly see how the color looks on your wood.
💡 Good to know:
The whole thing is fully cured after 5–8 days.
You can also mix the colored oils with each other – for even more color flexibility.
If you are working on oak and want to experiment with pre-stain OLI-AQUA Antique: please order separately.
And don't worry: the optional hardener does not change the color – you don't need it for evaluation.
