The "OLI-NATURA Project Oil" based on natural oils is used for the colored treatment of furniture, stairs, and floorboards on almost all types of wood. It has a solid content of 60%, penetrates deep into the pores, and reliably protects the wood from within. It does not form a surface layer but rather represents an open-pored impregnation. Thanks to the high self-penetration of the project oil, it is particularly easy to apply and very economical. With only one to two applications, extremely water and dirt-repellent wooden surfaces are achieved, which are easy to maintain and repair.
There are four colors that preserve the natural charm of the wood and enhance the haptic quality of the surface. The pigments maintain the structural appearance of the wood and give the surface a natural color. At the same time, the UV-stable color pigments help to counteract the natural color change of the wood for as long as possible.
The project oil is ideal for all lye-treated, untreated, sanded, or new wooden surfaces, but also for oriented strand boards (OSB) and cork indoors: whether for wooden or frame furniture, wall paneling, doors or kitchen furniture, parquet floors or stairs.
Easy to apply: Depending on the area of use, the material is applied in one to two coats with a brush, a pad, or an oil roller so that the entire wooden surface is wet and glossy. After a short drying time, the excess is simply wiped off with a cotton cloth/oil absorbent cloth and polished again. If necessary, a second coat can be applied after overnight drying without intermediate sanding.
For moderately used furniture, a single application is usually sufficient. Floors, stairs, or heavily used furniture, however, require more protection. A second application is recommended here.
Quality: The "OLI-NATURA Project Oil" is based on modified vegetable oils such as linseed oil, medical-grade isoparaffin, and lead- and cobalt-free drying agents. We consciously avoid the use of critical substances such as preservatives, formaldehydes, aromatics, biocides, cobalt salts, and oximes.
The product cures in the wood's interior in conjunction with atmospheric oxygen, becoming tough and elastic. The oiled surface remains open-pored and breathable. Due to its diffusion openness (water vapor permeability), the treated wood can absorb moisture from the ambient air and release it again if needed. This improves the indoor climate and enhances people's well-being.
The hardened material is harmless to humans, animals, and plants. It complies with DIN EN 71-3 (Safety of toys) and DIN 53160 (Saliva and sweat resistance) and is a construction product approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).
