Oil impregnates. Wax protects. OLI NATURA® Hard Wax Oil is the ECARF-certified oil-wax combination for almost any interior wood project. The oil impregnates the wood from the inside, while the wax additionally protects the surface with a fine protective film.
Which types of wood and applications is OLI NATURA® Hard Wax Oil suitable for?
OLI NATURA® Hard Wax Oil is the right choice if you are looking for a classic hard wax oil that can be used for almost all interior wood projects – instead of having a different wood oil in the cupboard for each application.
Whether it's furniture, dining tables, kitchen worktops, stairs, doors, wall paneling or window sills – the oil-wax combination is suitable for almost all types of wood and wood-based materials, including maple, beech, oak, ash, spruce and pine, as well as cork, bamboo, OSB, plywood and multiplex.
The hard wax oil is particularly suitable if light woods are only to be subtly deepened in color and you want an easy-to-apply, open-pored and repair-friendly surface.

What does wood look like after OLI NATURA® Hard Wax Oil?
The natural wood look is preserved. Grain and structure are subtly highlighted, and the surface remains open-pored and tactile.
The subtle color deepening harmoniously brings out particularly light wood species. The result is a silky matte finish. For an even more matte appearance, the surface can be polished during the wet phase with a white oil pad.
How easy is OLI NATURA® Hard Wax Oil to apply?
The oil-wax combination can be applied easily and evenly. For furniture, one coat is usually sufficient. For stairs and heavily used worktops, a second coat is recommended – without intermediate sanding.
Hard wax oil is not varnish. Apply thinly – that's enough.
The surface is durable, dirt and water repellent, and easy to care for. Scratches and signs of wear can be repaired locally or simply refreshed at any time – without sanding. The oil does not crack, peel, or flake.

After complete curing, the surface is harmless to humans, animals, and plants. Tested for everyday use: ECARF-certified (allergy-friendly), food contact-tested (LFGB), suitable for children's toys, and approved by building authorities.
