Pre-treatment

PreOilCleaner cleans thoroughly and provides optimal pre-treatment for untreated or freshly sanded wood surfaces such as furniture, stairs, parquet, and panels. It increases the absorbency of the wood and minimizes tannin reactions in tannin-rich woods like oak. Suitable for all wood types, it is diluted with water and applied before oiling. Mix the product with warm water and apply evenly using a wrung-out cotton ball or sponge until barely damp. For floors, a barely damp mop is recommended. Allow the wood surface to dry thoroughly. After complete drying, if necessary, perform an intermediate sanding, remove dust, and then treat with an OLI-NATURA oil of your choice. This product is NOT suitable for regular, daily cleaning. When using the reactive stain OLI-NATURA Antique, the surface should NOT be treated with PreOilCleaner beforehand.

Reactive Pre-Stain for Oak WoodVOC-free, water-based reactive stain for tannin-rich woods like oak. The pre-treatment reacts with natural tannins and creates authentic fuming and graying effects – more ecological and significantly easier to process than traditional ammonia fuming.Depending on the chosen shade – Limed, Fumed, or Black Fumed – different aging effects are created, from light fumed tones to deep dark black effects. The shades are intermixable.In combination with OLI-NATURA oils, particularly deep and vibrant surface appearances are achieved.Application is possible both manually and industrially (rolling, brushing, spraying, roller coater). A subsequent treatment with oil or wax is required.Prior wetting (water-popping) should be avoided, as this affects the reaction in the wood.

This gentle yet powerful cleaning concentrate is ideal for all outdoor wooden surfaces – from garden furniture to patio decking, made from untreated or oiled wood.It reliably removes green growth, dirt, and light signs of weathering, prevents their rapid re-formation, and optimally prepares the wood for a subsequent oil treatment. Our 1-liter concentrate is highly concentrated and is mixed with water in a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 – but can also be applied undiluted if necessary. FOR REGULAR CLEANING OF OILED WOOD SURFACES Footprints, food stains, ingrained dirt – oiled wood has to withstand a lot in everyday life. Often, a dry cloth or clear water is sufficient. Where dirt cannot be removed with these methods, OLI NATURA® Wood Soap comes into play. It cleans and cares in one step, removes everyday dirt, and also has a re-greasing effect. This preserves the natural character of the wood – versatile for use neat or diluted. Which wood surfaces is OLI NATURA® Wood Soap suitable for? For oiled, waxed, soaped, or lye-treated wood indoors – from parquet and floorboards to stairs, furniture, and other damp-wipeable wooden surfaces. Suitable for private and commercial use. When does wood need more than OLI NATURA® Wood Soap? The wood soap takes care of regular cleaning and maintenance. For heavy, old, ingrained, or deeper-seated dirt, a basic or intensive cleaning is the better choice – especially before re-oiling. If the surface appears dry, dull, or visibly worn, a care oil for oiled wood is recommended. Does OLI NATURA® Wood Soap change the appearance of the wood? The wood soap cleans without leaching the surface or forming a gray film. This leaves the wood looking clean, fresh, and naturally cared for after cleaning. How easy is OLI NATURA® Wood Soap to use? For regular cleaning, add 5–10 ml of wood soap per liter of lukewarm water and wipe damp – with a cloth or white pad on small areas, with a mop or flat mop on floors. For more stubborn dirt, apply neat to specific spots. The pH-neutral formula is gentle on skin and wood. What else distinguishes OLI NATURA® Wood Soap? These water-based wood stains, available in six colors, are ready for immediate use and can be optionally mixed to create a variety of shades. They are perfect for coloring raw or stripped soft and hardwood surfaces, ideal for a wide range of interior wood projects – from children's furniture and toys to stairs, doors, and panels. Thanks to their clear staining effect, our wood stain enhances the natural beauty of the wood without obscuring its texture. Application is easy: after moistening the wood and performing an intermediate sanding, apply the stain with a brush or sponge, remove excess material, and let it dry. The treated surface can then be oiled, waxed, or varnished as desired to achieve the desired finish. To avoid potential bleeding when overcoating with water-based varnishes, we recommend optionally mixing the stain with OLI-AQUA Hardener 13.2 in a 10:1 ratio. The easy workability of our wood stain allows both professionals and DIY enthusiasts to achieve excellent results.
