Whether for a dining table, stair tread or favorite piece of furniture: The water-based raw wood effect oil is suitable for solid wood furniture, tabletops, stair treads, wall panels and trim in residential interiors. It is suitable for light-colored woods such as maple, oak, ash, spruce and fir. The wood should be untreated or completely sanded down. For wooden floors, use OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil CLASSIC. How does OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE change the appearance and feel of the wood? Do you like wood just the way it is? Scandic-Oil only slightly intensifies the natural wood tone and gives the surface an untreated appearance. The wood structure remains perceptible to the touch. With OLI NATURA® Refresher, you can refresh the oiled surface as needed. Tip: Test the oil with a 20-ml sampler on a leftover piece of your wood. Sand it in the same way as the final surface and assess the result only after it has dried completely. Would you like to emphasize the natural wood tone more strongly? OLI NATURA® hardwax oil gives the wood a richer color and highlights the grain. How easy is OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE to apply? Apply two coats and finish in one day: Apply Scandic-Oil with a brush, foam roller or by spraying to freshly sanded, absorbent wood. You can apply a second coat after approximately two hours. One liter covers approximately 8–12.5 m² with two coats, depending on the type of wood, sanding and absorbency. The surface looks untreated and resembles freshly sanded wood in appearance and feel. Even on deeply brushed and structured oak, the pores are barely highlighted in white. This creates a calm, natural raw wood look without a limed effect. Which types of wood and applications is OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil CLASSIC suitable for? Whether parquet in the living room or plank flooring in the bedroom: The water-based raw wood effect oil is suitable for solid wood parquet and plank floors indoors. It is suitable for light woods such as oak, ash, birch, Douglas fir, spruce, silver fir and pine. The wood must be clean and absorbent; remove film-forming old coatings completely. For furniture and stairs, choose OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil FOR FURNITURE. How does OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil CLASSIC change the appearance and feel of the wood? Do you like wood just the way it is? Apply Scandic-Oil twice to the freshly sanded, absorbent wood using a short-pile oil/wax roller. After approximately two to three hours, you can apply the second coat - both steps can be completed in one day. The OLI NATURA® H2O-Hardener is the B component for OLI NATURA® Scandic-Oil Classic and Scandic-Oil For Furniture. The additional cross-linking supports full curing and can accelerate curing as well as increase the chemical resistance of the treated surface. The areas of application depend on the respective Scandic-Oil. Shortly before application, thoroughly mix the hardener with the oil in the specified ratio. Mixing ratio by volume - oil : hardener 10:1 - Scandic-Oil Classic and Scandic-Oil For Furniture 1 liter of oil + 100 ml of hardener 2.5 liters of oil + 250 ml of hardener 5 liters of oil + 500 ml of hardener Only mix the required quantity and use immediately. Follow the information in the technical data sheet for the respective Scandic-Oil. Pot life: 2-3 hours. Do not use after this period.
