TEAK OIL & DECKING OIL FOR OUTDOOR WOOD Sun and rain change wood. Even weather-resistant woods like teak fade and turn grey over time. Regular oiling with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil counteracts the silver-grey patina and helps protect the wood surface from drying out and becoming brittle. The oil penetrates deep into the wood and protects from within. The surface remains open-pored and water-repellent, and the colour and grain are visibly refreshed – without a sealed film layer. Which woods and applications are suitable for OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? For wooden decks, decking boards, garden furniture, pool surrounds and yacht decks made of suitable outdoor woods such as teak, bangkirai, Douglas fir, larch, eucalyptus, robinia, oak, ipé or cumaru. The right choice if the warm wood character is to be preserved and visibly enhanced, and you are looking for a biocide-free wood oil for outdoor use. A particular advantage is the easy maintenance: The oil penetrates the wood and remains open-pored. The oil coating does not crack, peel, or flake. Therefore, already oiled surfaces can usually be re-oiled easily without sanding. What does wood look like after OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? The oiling gives the wood depth and warmth. Colour and grain become more prominent, and the surface remains open-pored and natural to the touch. Natural is pigment-free, but not optically colourless: like any enhancing oil, it deepens the existing wood tone. Teak is lightly pigmented, subtly supports warm wood tones, and offers increased UV protection. The colour Teak is also suitable for other wood types without changing them to an opaque teak tone. Wood type, natural colour, and sanding affect the colour tone. A sample on the original wood shows it most reliably. All colours are available as samplers. How easy is OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil to apply? Apply thinly, let it soak in, remove excess. Apply the oil evenly in the direction of the grain and polish completely after about 15 minutes. Only apply to clean, dry wood. Protect the freshly oiled surface from rain and moisture for 5–8 days afterwards. Very dry or highly absorbent wood can be oiled a second time after drying overnight. Treat dense woods like teak only thinly. One application is usually sufficient for refreshing. Already oiled surfaces can usually be maintained without sanding. Depending on the weather and use, a refresh once a year is usually sufficient, or twice if the wood is exposed to the elements. What can you rely on with OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil? MAINTAINING & RE-OILING WOODEN GARDEN FURNITURE Sun, rain, and use will eventually leave their marks on wooden garden furniture. Color and grain fade, and the surface can appear dry and rough. What is included in the OLI NATURA® Care Set No. 5? 250 ml OLI NATURA® Yacht & Teak Oil in Teak – for refreshing the warm wood tone and for regular maintenance. 2-in-1 Sanding Sponge – for smoothing rough spots and raised wood fibers. Brush – for a thin, even application of oil. Polishing Pad – for working in and polishing the oil. Oil Absorbent Cloth – for safely removing excess oil. Which garden furniture is the care set suitable for? For garden tables, garden chairs, wooden benches, garden loungers, and other outdoor furniture made of hardwood, exotic wood, and suitable outdoor woods such as teak, bangkirai, eucalyptus, or robinia. Ideal for refreshing already oiled wood – usually without complete sanding. How easy is the application? Clean the wood and let it dry completely. If necessary, smooth rough spots with the sanding sponge. Apply a thin layer of oil, let it soak in for about 15 minutes, and completely remove any excess. Then polish with the polishing pad. Everything included for easy aftercare – from smoothing to the finished oil application.

Boiled linseed oil is "New Old School" - an almost forgotten traditional coating that was once commonly used for wooden surfaces and building elements - both indoors and outdoors. In 2015, we rediscovered the traditional recipe, carefully developed it further, and had it tested for contact with food. Today, boiled linseed oil is one of the most original ways for many manufacturers and wood lovers to naturally protect wood: for cutting boards, end grain, kitchen wood, turned works as well as bowls, knife handles, toys, bird & bee houses, windows and doors. Our boiled linseed oil is produced in a gentle cooking process exclusively from pure, cold-pressed linseed oil. For faster and more uniform drying, we only add a minimal amount of a modern drying agent to the recipe. Further additives and solvents are taboo. Moreover: our boiled linseed oil is LFGB-tested and suitable for wooden surfaces with food contact. After application, the boiled linseed oil forms a permanent bond with the wood and creates a water-repellent layer. The application remains deliberately simple: apply generously with a cotton cloth or brush, let it soak in briefly, and wipe off excess oil. After sufficient drying, the application can be repeated several times. Usually, two to three coats are sufficient. The wood appears livelier, warmer, and richer in tone. Light woods develop a natural honey tone.

This gentle yet powerful cleaning concentrate is ideal for all outdoor wooden surfaces – from garden furniture to patio decking, made from untreated or oiled wood.It reliably removes green growth, dirt, and light signs of weathering, prevents their rapid re-formation, and optimally prepares the wood for a subsequent oil treatment. Our 1-liter concentrate is highly concentrated and is mixed with water in a ratio of 1:3 or 1:4 – but can also be applied undiluted if necessary.
