Wellness for wood: This naturally hardening care wax combines oil and wax in one product. It is especially recommended for initial treatment and refreshing of parquet and plank floors, stairs and wooden furniture indoors that have been treated with our oxidatively drying hard wax oils.
The oil refills the pores of the wood with fresh oil and the wax creates a fine surface film. This renews the protective effect and thus the resistance.
The care wax is not pigmented. Nevertheless, the color depth is subtly highlighted again.
Thanks to its low viscosity, it is easy to apply: For small furniture, simply apply some care product to a lint-free cotton cloth or polishing pad and wipe it over the surface to be treated. To refresh wooden stairs, apply the care wax sparingly with a polishing pad, spread it and polish it with a cotton or oil-absorbing cloth. For the care of parquet and plank floors, the care wax can also be applied evenly and thinly with a spray bottle and, after a short exposure time, polished by hand with a polishing pad or a single-disc machine.
The wood care product contains only the necessary ingredients for the purpose. This care wax is based on refined linseed oil and carnauba wax. The medical-grade isoparaffin ensures good self-penetration, which makes it so easy to apply.
When to care? The intervals at which the wooden surface needs to be refreshed depend on the wear and tear. Good indications for the need for care of the surface are when the water resistance and color depth diminish and/or the surface feels dry and dull. Then, re-oiling should be done.
