OLI NATURA® Mini Hand Pads - 10 pieces, single color

Work in and polish - the right pad for hand application. Compact, rectangular nonwoven pads for applying wood oils and waxes to furniture, tabletops and worktops, as well as smaller wood surfaces, edges and corners. Dimensions: 15 × 8.5 cm. Each pack contains 10 pads in one color: white or beige.

Which pad color is suitable for which application?

Beige - Massaging Pad
Medium-soft and grippy, with no abrasive effect. For evenly distributing and thoroughly working in wood oils and waxes, especially on hardwood. Ideal for high-solid oils such as OLI NATURA® HS Professional Oil and Worktop-Oil.

White - Polishing Pad
Soft, with no abrasive effect. For removing light oil residue after the penetration time and for final polishing of oiled wood surfaces. Also suitable for polishing maintenance oils and for oiling and waxing softwood.

Application instructions

Select the pad suitable for the application and follow the processing instructions for the oil or wax. Distribute and work in the wood oil evenly with the beige pad. Remove any significant oil residue after the penetration time with a lint-free cloth. Then polish with the white pad until the surface is even and no wet or sticky oil film remains.

Safety and reuse

Pads soaked with oxidatively drying wood oils can self-ignite. After use, wet them with water, allow them to dry completely outdoors, and only then dispose of them.

With oxidatively drying oils, the oil hardens in the pad. Cleaning and subsequent reuse are then not possible.

Suitable accessories and additional pads

The Mini Hand Pad Holder is available separately. The 21-piece OLI NATURA® Pad Set contains both pad colors and a hand pad holder.

For larger areas applied by hand, rectangular Super Hand Pads are available; for machine application, round Super Pads for random orbital sanders are available.

Which mini hand pad color is suitable for which application?

  • Beige massaging pads: medium-soft and grippy for evenly distributing and intensively massaging in wood oils and waxes.
  • White polishing pads: soft for removing light oil residue after the application time and for final polishing. Also suitable for polishing maintenance oils.

Is a hand pad holder included?

No. The package contains 10 mini hand pads in one color. The matching mini hand pad holder is available separately. The 21-piece OLI NATURA® pad set contains 10 beige massaging pads, 10 white polishing pads, and a hand pad holder.

How can you tell whether the wood oil has been polished sufficiently?

The surface should look even and have no wet or sticky oil film. Remove any significant oil residue with a lint-free cloth and then polish with the white pad. Follow the wood oil's application instructions.

When should the white polishing pad be replaced?

Use a fresh pad as soon as the previous pad no longer absorbs light oil residue or no longer polishes the oil evenly.

Can the mini hand pads be used on both sides and reused?

Both pad colors can be used on both sides. With oxidative-drying wood oils, the oil hardens in the pad. Cleaning and later reuse is then not possible.

Do the mini hand pads have an abrasive effect?

No. White and beige mini hand pads are free of abrasive particles and are non-abrasive. They are used to distribute, massage in, and polish wood oils and waxes.

Can oil-soaked mini hand pads spontaneously combust?

Yes. Pads soaked with oxidative-drying wood oils can spontaneously combust. After use, moisten them with water, allow them to dry completely outdoors, and only then dispose of them.

Does a package contain both white and beige mini hand pads?

No. Each package contains 10 pads of one color, either white or beige. The pads measure 15 × 8,5 cm.

Are there also pads for larger areas or random orbital sanders?

For larger areas, rectangular Super hand pads with a matching hand pad holder or telescopic handle are available for manual use. For machine application, round OLI NATURA® Super Pads for random orbital sanders with a diameter of 152 mm are suitable. zur Verfügung.
