The staircase floats in the room like a solitaire – a successful example of modern architecture. The deeply penetrating natural oil, approved by the German Institute for Building Technology, gives the structure a very elegant appearance and also meets the highest demands in terms of durability and ease of care. The staircase builder's conclusion is consistently positive: "The OLI-NATURA Project Oil was easy to apply and absorbed wonderfully evenly into the wood. The open-pore look and feel are convincing: the wood looks fantastically matte and feels warm and supple."
Easy Application
The finely sanded stair treads were evenly and thinly impregnated before installation with OLI-NATURA Project Oil in two roller applications, totaling 60 g/m². The first coat was rolled with 40 g/m² and after 20 minutes of exposure, massaged in with a green pad until the surface appeared matte. The second coat with 20 g/m² was hand polished with a white pad.
Quick Refresh
A coordinated care concept ensures a long service life and sustainability of the surface. By using OLI-NATURA Wood Care Oil, the treads can be refreshed at any time. Regular wiping with OLI-NATURA Wood Soap ensures quick cleaning and re-oiling. Damaged areas can be easily sanded locally and re-oiled.
