The Swedish red sanding pads are suitable for all 13-inch plate sanding machines and are recommended for various tasks. They can be used for intermediate sanding or to abrade an existing seal. They can also be used for cleaning sanding of greyed, oiled wooden floors.
The sanding pattern is roughly equivalent to grit 150. The normal pads are about 8 mm thick and have a diameter of 330mm (13'').
In contrast to sanding screens, the pad works more gently and leaves practically no sanding marks. Unlike other pads, the sanding pad wears down during use.
One side of the pad can process approx. 10 - 15 m². However, this is only a non-binding guideline; the actual range depends heavily on local conditions.
