This red 2-in-1 sanding sponge with P220 grit is sandpaper and sanding block in one piece. This grit is ideal for fine sanding of raw wooden surfaces, for intermediate sanding and for re-sanding wetted surfaces. Thanks to the foam core, the sponge fits comfortably in the hand and adapts to the surface to be worked on. A small amount of grit shedding is normal and the workpiece should be dusted off after sanding.
The sanding sponge is reusable. After each use, clean thoroughly to free it from sanding dust and other contaminants. To do this, rinse the sanding sponge under running water and, if necessary, wipe with a soft brush or a cleaning cloth. If the sanding sponge is very dirty, use a mild detergent if necessary. Then let the sanding sponge dry completely before using it again.
