OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner for Thinning, Refreshing and Cleaning

OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner is a low-odour thinner based on isoparaffinic hydrocarbons. It adjusts the flow properties of OLI NATURA® oils and waxes and makes thickened, not yet cured oils workable again. With OLI NATURA® hardwax oil Natural, it extends the working time, making application on larger surfaces easier.

Colour HS Professional Oil can be mixed with it to create a coloured maintenance oil for refreshing coloured oiled surfaces. After oiling, the thinner is also suitable for cleaning brushes, rollers and other work tools. It is not suitable for the water-based OLI NATURA® SCANDIC OIL and does not remove heavily dried or cured oil.

Use of OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner

Diluting oils and waxes with OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner

Add Oil Thinner and stir in thoroughly. Follow the application instructions for the respective oil or wax. For a longer working time on larger surfaces, mix 10 parts OLI NATURA® hardwax oil Natural with 1 part Oil Thinner and then apply promptly.

Making coloured maintenance oil with OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner

Mix 1 part OLI NATURA® Colour HS Professional Oil with 2 parts Oil Thinner. To do this, pour in the oil first and add the thinner while stirring. Mix only the quantity required. Test the mixture in advance on a test area, apply thinly and polish out completely. No visible excess oil may remain.

Cleaning tools with OLI NATURA® Oil Thinner

Store brushes and rollers in the Oil Thinner until the next work step and squeeze them out thoroughly with a cloth before reuse. After finishing work, rinse them in the Oil Thinner, squeeze them out and leave them to dry. Immediately remove stirring sticks and fresh oil splashes from glass, metal, plastic or lacquered surfaces with a cloth moistened with Oil Thinner. Test compatibility beforehand in an inconspicuous area. Oil that has dried or hardened extensively cannot be removed with Oil Thinner.
