The Swedish red sanding pads are suitable for all 13-inch disc sanding machines and are recommended for various tasks. They can be used for intermediate sanding or to abrade an existing sealant. They can also be used for cleaning sanding of gray, oiled wooden floors.
The sanding pattern is approximately equivalent to grit 150. The standard pads are approximately 8 mm thick and have a diameter of 330mm (13'').
Unlike sanding screens, the pad works more gently and leaves practically no sanding marks. Unlike other pads, the sanding pad wears down during use.
Approximately 10–15 m² can be treated with one side of the pad. However, this figure is only a non-binding guideline; the actual coverage depends heavily on the conditions on site.
