Reactive Pre-Stain for Oak Wood
VOC-free, water-based reactive stain for tannin-rich woods like oak. The pre-treatment reacts with natural tannins and creates authentic fuming and graying effects – more ecological and significantly easier to process than traditional ammonia fuming.
Depending on the chosen shade – Limed, Fumed, or Black Fumed – different aging effects are created, from light fumed tones to deep dark black effects. The shades are intermixable.
In combination with OLI-NATURA oils, particularly deep and vibrant surface appearances are achieved.
Application is possible both manually and industrially (rolling, brushing, spraying, roller coater).
A subsequent treatment with oil or wax is required.
Prior wetting (water-popping) should be avoided, as this affects the reaction in the wood.
