It subtly emphasizes the characteristic color of the wood and makes the surface tangible. At the same time, it is extremely resistant and shows high resistance to household chemicals and liquids in the stain resistance test.
The secret of the hard wax oil's success is the successful combination of vegetable oils, resins and waxes such as carnauba wax, probably the hardest natural wax with excellent abrasion resistance. Depending on the application, it can be applied evenly and thinly with a brush, roller or spray gun in one or two coats. Even with a single application, the material achieves good wood saturation and a uniform surface that appears slightly shinier without polishing. Careful padding in the wet phase massages the hard wax oil deeper into the wood. This gives the surface a noticeably natural matte finish.
OLI-NATURA Hard Wax Oil is the first hard wax oil on the market to be awarded the ECARF quality-tested seal. It thus demonstrates a high level of allergen-friendliness for respiratory allergies. In addition, an independent testing laboratory has certified that the hard wax oil complies with Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and can therefore be safely used on wooden surfaces that come into contact with food: on dining tables, worktops, cheese plates, bread boards or knife blocks.
