Reactive Pre-Stain for Oak
VOC-free water-based reactive stain for tannin-rich woods such as oak. The pretreatment reacts with natural tannins to create authentic fumed and greying effects—more environmentally friendly and significantly easier to process than traditional ammonia fuming.
Depending on the selected shade—Lye-Washed, Fumed, or Black Fumed—different aging effects are achieved, ranging from light fumed tones to deep black effects. The shades can be mixed with one another.
In combination with OLI-NATURA oils, particularly deep and vibrant surface effects are created.
Suitable for both artisanal and industrial application (rolling, brushing, spraying, roller-coating line).
Subsequent treatment with oil or wax is required.
Pre-wetting (water-popping) should be avoided, as it affects the reaction in the wood.
