Wellness for wood: This naturally hardening care wax combines oil and wax in one product. It is particularly recommended for initial care and refreshing parquet and plank floors, stairs, and indoor wooden furniture treated with our oxidatively drying hardwax oils.
The oil replenishes the wood’s pores with fresh oil, while the wax creates a fine surface film. This renews the protective effect and, consequently, the wood’s resistance.
The care wax is not pigmented. Nevertheless, it subtly enhances the depth of the color again.
Thanks to its low viscosity, it is easy to apply: For small pieces of furniture, simply put a small amount of the care product on a lint-free cotton cloth or polishing pad and wipe it over the surface to be treated. To refresh wooden stairs, apply the care wax sparingly with a polishing pad, distribute it, and polish it with a cotton or oil-absorbent cloth. To care for parquet and plank floors, the care wax can also be applied evenly in a thin layer using a sprayer and, after a short dwell time, polished by hand or with a single-disc machine using a polishing pad.
The wood care product contains only ingredients necessary for its purpose. In this care wax, refined linseed oil and carnauba wax form the base. The medical-grade isoparaffin ensures good self-penetration, which is why the product is so easy to apply.
When should you care for the wood? The intervals at which the wood surface needs to be refreshed depend on the level of use. Good indicators that the surface needs care are reduced water resistance, fading color depth, and/or a dry, dull feel. The surface should then be reoiled.
The care oil is also available in the Care Set No. 2 .
